Ziziki's - meh..

Bottomline.. quality of the food (desserts not included in this statement) was acceptable. Not so the quantity, or the ratio of meat to everything else.

Moussaka:

This was my order. It was good. Not enough of it though.. I had to get a supplemental whopper on the way back.

Grilled Salmon Souvlaki:
Notice the tiny slivers of Salmon. This dish should've been called "Pita bread with random tid-bits of Salmon"

Sliced Lamb souvlaki:

Lamb chunks(?) Souvlaki:

Dessert - Baklava layered with icecream:
One of us took the plunge, but was very disappointed.

Same thing after being passed around a table of 16..
'nuff said!

I'm not going back anytime soon..

  1. I have been here many times and i have usually liked it enough to come back for more but this time was a disgrace. The plates were just thrown together with very little care (same order for different people came in a very different ratios of ingredients) and the baclava concoction ... well it was just terrible and it made me wish for a taste of Blue Bell ice-cream. I know that Ziziki's tries to do gourmet greek fusion but today it was neither gourmet nor greek ... maybe a fusion of bad taste and poor execution on the chef's side. There was no love or pride put in preparing and serving this food.
